UXO Survey Support Pontoon Hire
FPS Pontoon Hire provides modular floating work platforms to support specialist unexploded ordnance (UXO) survey contractors working on inland and sheltered-water projects across the UK.
The pontoon can provide a configurable working area for survey personnel, detection equipment and associated support activities where access from the bank or a conventional small vessel is unsuitable.
Floating support for UXO surveys
FPS Pontoon Hire supplies the floating platform and agreed access equipment. UXO detection, identification, risk assessment and any clearance or disposal activities remain the responsibility of the appointed competent UXO specialist.

Platform planning
We consider the required working area, personnel, equipment and loads, water conditions, access, manoeuvring and positioning requirements. Work boats, safety boats, gangways and other pontoon equipment can be incorporated where appropriate to the agreed scope. Where required, the platform can also be supported by temporary works and stability calculations.
