Project Overview
FPS Pontoon Hire supplied a modular floating pontoon and scaffold tower to support ductwork inspection works above a swimming pool.
The client needed access to high-level ducting while avoiding disruption to normal pool opening hours.
The FPS Solution
A temporary pontoon was installed inside the pool to create a stable base for scaffold access. This positioned the inspection team directly beneath the ductwork and allowed the working height to be achieved without draining the pool.

Night-Time Installation
The pool remained open to the public until 9:30pm, so the FPS team began installation after closing. The inspection was completed that evening and the temporary pontoon was dismantled again before the facility reopened.

Night-Time Pool Installations
Working overnight keeps the pool open to the public during the day. Installation, the work itself and removal are planned to fit the closure window, with the pool area checked and handed back before opening.
